Day started out pretty bad. Train was down and I had to take a diverted route to my destination. Fortunately, I managed to reach where I wanted to go on time. BUT....guess who I came across... yes u see in on the picture ald!!!
I saw a whole bunch of fanfare going on...and when I popped in the building to see who it was...WAH LA! TOM CRUISE! Haha...fortunately for me, I able to take a picture with him. Not many ppl get to do that k..he seems like a really nice guy, but being the busy guy he is, its impossible to even hold a conversation with him. After one photograph, its another, if not, is the autographs...
So this is the London Eye
BIG BEN
Parliament House
And the infamous...."London bridge is falling down...falling down..falling down..."
Haha...all seemed well with me taking pictures here and there...when suddenly, just before I took the picture of the beautiful Tower Bridge, my camera went dead! Batt was totally flat! Goodness....i cldnt take pictures of the tower of London, Belfast...etc. So many things. Thus, I had no choice but to take pics with my iphone. Sad but well, at least I captured some memories. If today has taught me sth, is that firstly, don't go holidays alone. It can be really boring at times. Especially if u need someone to take a pic for u, its best to go with someone. SECOND, time for me to sell my camera and get a DSLR or a prosumer cam. Sth better than a digital compact camera. Goodness.
So the rest of the day, I headed to Leicester Square AGAIN, this time hoping to catch Phantom of the opera, however, the tix were too expensive as the half price ticketing booth were not selling...so I decided to watch.... (ZI HUI, JINLI...and all my sec.sch literature friends...LISTEN OUT!)
"A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE"
Goodness...it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO gooood. I understood the whole story in the 2hrs play. So much better than reading the book in 10months! Haha..memories started strolling back..."Eddie..Rodolfo...Catherine...Beatrice...Marco...." haha...really really nice.
Oh sorry, backtrack a lil, just before I watched the play, I wandered around Covent Garden to watch the buskers. They're all really interesting and PROFESSIONAL. Note: These buskers had to go through an audition before they're allow to busk in the area. This shows how good they are. I also made a trip to the National Museum to look at Piccaso's paintings etc. Man, the paintings were really nice, so real! So metaphorical as well, every picture has a meaning behind it.
Newae, it's been a really long and tired day. Hopefully tml will be a better day. Hope to catch Phantom of the opera tml (HAHA, yes, i'm a sucker for theatres) and perhaps visit Buckingham palace or sth. Meanwhile, take care and nitez peeps!
