London Day 3

Today was reallllllly tiring, but extremely fruitful! I started off by making a risky trip to Wembley Stadium (National Stadium of England) with the hope that there would be an available slot for me to go for the stadium tour. So i waited anxiously till 9am before I got through their hotline and enquired. Thankfully, there was a slot! Thus, i made my way down...(note that I still had to rush as there were many who wanted the tour as well...) So upon reaching the stadium , i headed to the ticketing booth..and thank God, I got my ticket! =) There was still time, so I wondered into the stadium shop and i have to say..the new England jersey may be pretty simple, but it feels extremely comfortable! They're selling at 50 pounds here though, so...pretty much the same price anywhere.

So the tour started and off I went!

So some pics before I elaborated on what we did.
Note the arch? It is not there just for design purposes, the arch actually holds the roof of the stadium and acts as its support. Interesting huh?
Well well well, yes..this is me, HOLDING the ACTUAL and LIVE FA CUP! Haha... But before that, I had the opportunity to witness and learn abit of history around the stadium. I got to see a new collection in the stadium, which happened to be the goal post of the controversial goal in England's 4-2 world cup win over West Germany. It was the third goal to which the ball hit the post and went in (on the line or not...up to you guys to decide). It was the decisive goal of the 1966 world cup win for England and well...it just arrived 4 weeks ago! Next up was the press conference room and well, now I know how they do it. haha...continuing on, we went to have a look at the stadium frm the top view...it was gorgeous I tell you. Really gorgeous. So pictures and pictures...and next...

THE DUGOUT

The dressing room was really interesting. For all you gals out there, I'm VERY sure all of you would be envious of the toilets and showerooms that these footballers have. haha, its seriously nice, and it even comes with hairdryers. I doubt we'll see that in our own National Stadium. So in the dressing room, I got to see all the player's lil corner with their shirts and no.s. Some ladies went nuts over Beckham's seat..haha.. what can I say. Moving on, we went to the pitch to take a look...it was the best grass I've ever seen. REALLY REALLY ideal for soccer man...tempting. So frm there we went up to the expensive seats....and finally to the finale, holding the FA Cup ! Haha, although its just a cup, but its really precious, considering all the history. Learnt alot today though. Hope to have more stadium tours next time!

So after that, I went to Leicester Square to look for theatre shows to watch. I tell you, the selection of shows here are really...wow. I was particularly won over by all their musicals. They have Phantom of the opera, Mamma Mia! , Billy Elliot, The Lion King, We Will Rock You....and SOOOO MANY MORE! Goodness. But JUST before I get to that, I stumbled upon this building in front of me. It was the "Ripleys Believe it or Not!" Haha, interestingly, it was their biggest museum ever and it was right in front of me! Thus, being the tourist I was, I paid the admission and went in. Haha, honestly, not really my cup of tea, but I really laugh at some of the stupid stuff that ppl can do. And I mean, reallllly stupid, just to be in the record books. Haha..

So wondering around again...and I fell in love with all the structures...etc Look at em...they're really beautiful.
This was a park that I stumbled upon. Turned out to be a section of the St James Park. Its really peaceful and relaxing there. With the sun gazing upon you, lying down on the grass with ur loved one, having a picnic with ur frens, this is really ideal.

Alright, so finally for the night! My search ended by purchasing tix to watch STOMP. Haha, I never had the opportunity to watch them when they were in Spore thus I decided to watch em here.

Sadly but logically, no photos were allowed so this is all I can show you. But I gotta say, they're really really good. After the show, I felt like just drumming away and whacking anything I can see. Haha, very inspiring and truly, you see how much work they put in. You definitely need to practice for those things!

So what's up tml? Madame Tussaud's in the morning, London Eye River Cruise in the afternoon, picture taking soon after, and night? Haha, yes. I HOPE TO CATCH ANOTHER MUSICAL TML!

But I need some help. I can't decide which one to watch! Guys! Help me out! Here are the options, I can only watch ONE.
