Life so far...

So far its been 1 week of ground sch, the Alphajet sure has alot more stuff to study man! When I was flying the D140, previously, the checklist was about 2-3 pages. Now my checklists: 2 BOOKS. Gdness...haha how to memorise?!
But well, this is the real deal, but if I wanna fly it, I gotta work hard and fight for it! Still remember what my dad told me, "Son...its no more computer games! You're flying the real thing!" Wow, that motivated me so much more to study hard. Truly, looking back, I can never thank God enough. The training, the studies... still remember the call that Sherlyn gave me when I was in Tekong...
time: 8pm
"Hello, is this Samuel? ...[yes..] This is Sherlyn frm the Air Force Recruitment Centre...[yes...] Just to let you know we've received your medical and you've also made it to OCS, so you can report to AFRC on Monday morning...[WHAT?! REALLY?!??! So I made it to OCS?!] Yes... [AH!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! So what do I need to bring.....]"
Haha, truly Lord, you're worthy of all praise. Some of you may be wondering about my MSN nick. Is Samuel ok???
"How can I show love to somebody who constantly rejects me?" - Put urself in his shoes.
Well, let me first clarify, I AM OK. Haha, my nick refers to a character in a show I just watched. He asked his dad that qns. And his dad looked at him (he was standing next to a cross) and then look up at the cross. Don't you think Jesus would have told God that MANY times? Love ur enemies..."ya right! easier said than done!" But hey, tts exactly what Jesus did, he loved. And you know what makes it even more unbelievable? To love someone who constantly rejects u is already almost impossible...
Jesus DIED. Even for those who constantly rejected him. Indeed he is amazing right? Thank you Father. I love you.
Well, week 2 of ground sch tml, followed by a week of tests....than will be going up to Brest (North West France) for my sea survival training. Gonna be cool. Go up in a helicopter and get thrown off...haha, to simulate plane crashing. Den after, go to an indoor swimming pool with a submerged cockpit, strap up and then after, the canopy goes upside down. With whatever breath u got, u gotta unstrap urself UNDERWATER, can get urself out of the cockpit. Heard its seriously scary and dangerous too, but well, the french divers will be there to supervise. On the good side, heard the navy has the best military food ever! Haha..
Till then everyone, God bless!
