Home Sweet Home...19th Dec.

After 4 long months, I was finally back on home soil. This was the plan: Arrive on 19th Dec, and Depart back on 6th Jan. And in between, 25th-31st Dec was our family holiday to Australia.

Indeed it was such a break. I spent my time with many of my loved ones...especially my parents, my sis, and well, you. =) I had nv appreciated them so much till this, the moment i saw everyone, I just hugged them. All of them meant so much to me. Even you. When I met you on 19th night, look at you...the moment you saw me, your eyes and your smile just widened. But the highlight of this part 1, is dedicated to my beloved family. I'll share bout my australia trip with everyone =)

After 4-5 long years, we were finally able to go for another holiday together...the last being to Bali. This was a really special one because jie and myself were both overseas and it SO HAPPENED that the tickets we bought were just a day apart! Thus, being able to go for the holiday. Heading to Melbourne, we visited our old family friend, U.Jimmy and A.Frieda. Too bad Jannen wasn't around as he had to work in queensland, but nevertheless, it was a joy to see the lovely couple once again. U.Jimmy had everything planned out for us and it was really cool. We visited so many places...the Gold mines...the museums..the cow boy town..after which, we met up with a very memorable couple as well. My mum's FIRST pastor! Can you imagine that? The Pastor whom my mum introduced my dad to when she was much younger...Pastor Peter. He was such a good host. Upon picking us up, he drove miles and miles to Phillip island hoping to let us have a look at the penguins and their lil "parade" only to be disappointed cuz of "tickets sold out". So sad...but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we drove straight to his house to meet up with A.Karen and boy, i love their house. They have ALL sorts of flowers (except roses)...vegetables...roots...and edible stuff! (e.g Chilli, lettuce..salad...potatoes....etc) Crazy. I seriously like their place. haha..And he continued to bring us to many different places like frankfurt where they had a marvelous beach...superb view..and well, truly a holiday. After 2 days with Pastor Peter, we met up with U.Jimmy again. And guess what...what a joy..he helped us link up with all our old friends who have now migrated to Australia ! U.Edmund and family...U.Simon and family...etc Gosh.. I saw Grace and Jonathan as well! The last i saw em...well...hmmm...when i was in Moriah...like erm...i dunno man. Sec.sch for sure. For those that still dunno who are they...Jonathan was the one who did the infamous PUNCH THROUGH the wall....while playing soccer in church...rmbr guys??? Hahah...sorry dude! And lastly, U.Jimmy drove us..truly an extremely long drive to see the 12 Apostles (they're like rock formations done up by the waves of the sea)..so many winding roads...many of us felt uneasy though. hah..we also went to the OTWAY Tree top walk...it was nice..mummy was so cute when she wanted to climb up the observation tower although she had a fear of heights. Imagine her up dere and coming up...mum! You're really cute! haha...

What can i say..this Australia trip..was truly one that my family need. I had fun with them...love them so much =) Love you fellow Yeos! (I mean Alfred YEO, Joyce YEO, Phebe YEO and Snoopy YEO only ah!)

Part 2 coming up soon... (from 1st Jan - 6th Jan)
