Update on life

Sunday, October 05, 2008

Its Sunday afternoon here, and I thought that maybe hey, I shld give an update of my life here...like what do I do etc...haha. Thought it may interest some of you. (If u find it interesting...haha)

Every Mon-Fri....wake up at 630am, bathed....do my QT....prepare to start the day/week...breakfast at 715am, report at the squadron at 740am. The day starts : Map drawing..lectures..briefs..planning...more studies...lunch at 11-12noon. Day continues doing the same thing....till about 5pm when the day "officially" ends. Instructors will usually stay back and drink in the bar (yes there is a bar in the squadron) and we got to lock up the place. So..being trainees, we have to wait for all the instructors to go back before we can close. Thus, going back everyday at about 6-7pm. Interesting?

Haha...well, life has been pretty different in squadron life. More studies..more planning...we're going to have simulator training soon and that means we have to be ready with our checks and be very good at it. Simulator is gonna be something instrument flying. WHICH MEANS...flying without looking outside, just at your instruments! In lay-man's terms...driving a car without looking outside, just at ur speed..RPM..fuel..etc. Yes, its tough, but tts how its gonna be when you fly at night! Scary huh?

Well, not a very interesting post but wanna take this opportunity to thank Grace for helping me with this blog design change! What's surprising was she actually chose the right plane! (F-15) hah...cool huh. This coming week we'll have quite a number of tests...including aircraft specifications and runway patterns. But nevertheless, the guys are planning to make a trip to Paris this coming fri night and be back on sun night! PARIS.

LYDIA are you reading? PARIS. Haha...please don't get the idea I'm having holidays and fun in France k...its the only thing we can look forward to here. There is no shopping at night...no food...and shops are closed on sundays. So ya...u get the point.  =P
