26th Nov. The Day when everything (and i mean EVERYTHING) weny wrong.

hey guys...as you may have seen frm the blog title...life hasnt been as smooth as I would like it to recently. Many downs...but nevertheless, I wanna thank God for everything.

It took me quite some time but perhaps its about time to face it and get on with life.

As much as I would have liked to excel in my flying...i didn't make it. It was tough, I gave my all...studied very very hard...but at the last leg...the major test for phase1 , i failed. I simply got too tensed, nervous and stressed out that I lost height without noticing...cut into the wrong sectors...and messed up a major info on a check... when it was time for circuits...I had to deal with the huge amount of turbulence and strong winds...but at the end of it, I just wasn't able to pass it. Unfortunately though.
It took me quite some time to gather myself. I was loss for words when my tester told me the result...in fact, i begged him for a last chance...hoping that he would give in and help me out. I just could not let go of this dream that I had since young. But my tester had his own limitations and as much as he would like to help, he still could not give me a pass. Nevertheless, it is my honor and pleasure to thank God for this opportunity. It has definitely been one out of a lifetime experience and i truly thank daddy up there for this. I still hope to fly though. Who knows ? Perhaps commercial ? haha...

There was this thing tt a gd fren of my mentioned : Missionary Pilot.

Ever heard of that? Basically you're a full-time worker who studies in bible sch, but besides bible studies, you'll learn about aviation stuff, get ur license and you'll be able to do peace/aid missions to countries...I got to admit, it is really appealing to me. However, would like to juz hold back and let God take control again.

Now you might ask...now that I didn't make it...what will I do ? Frankly saying...I do not know. I wld most likely go back to army...perhaps into OCS - this is cuz I still have 1yr 6mths of NS left. And yes, my pilot contract is now void. No more regular pay...sad. Haha...

Well, this 5 days has been pretty boring for me. Together with me are 3 others NFs - (Not Flying) as well. We were supposed to go back by today...however, since its soon to be Christmas, we're unable to get tickets back to Singapore. As of now, with the information tt I have, I'll most likely be back on 8th Dec tentative. Really miss home... Am reading a book daddy passed to me - Destiny by Steven Teo . A relative gd book though, u guys shld read it. Now the comical side...apart from reading the book, I've been playing Pokemon yellow on gameboy emulator! Haha...yesyes, childish..but hey, theres nothing to do here k? Of cuz nth to do when assigned tasks have been completed! Haha...

Oh well... CAN"T WAIT TO GO HOME!!!
