As most of you would have known by now, I stunned basically the world when I came back on 30th July. I had planned this surprise for 4 months and I was glad it went well. There were 3priorities for this break of mine, 1stly, to come back for Esther's special 21st birthday party, 2nd, to catch up with all my long lost friends, last and not least, to see my beloved parents who has always been there for me. This will be a really long entry though. :) I will try to update as much as I can. :)
30th July...landed at 720am. So wished I cld call someone to just say that I've arrived on Spore soil! But as it was a surprise...I couldn't. Anyway, I had initially requested my dad to be home as I told him that Esther's 21st bdae present wld arrive on 30th July 10am...so yes, now I got him where i wanted him to be and my 1st surprise was really coming up soon. I took a cab & it was just really good to finally be back HOME. I reached the doorstep of my house and as I was getting ready...i realised I left my camera IN THE CAB! Thus, I sprinted all the way out to the main road and fortunately, the taxi hasn't left onto the main road otherwise.....yea. Back to the surprise. I took my cam, went on video mode...pressed "record"....and "Ding dong"...the door opened...my dad came out...he saw me and u know wad...the face... PRICELESS. He kept insisting "I knew it i knew it!" but i mean....ya la ya la...booo...hahaha...but I was just glad cuz I saw his smile...and for that moment, from the door to the gate and even back in the house...tt smile didn't left his face...it was there. I was just glad to see that on him. Got back and soon...mummy called to talk to daddy. I told daddy not to tell her, and while mum was still talking...I took the phone from dad and went.. "uh-huh uh-huh..." and suddenly...there was this LONG pause....then frm the other side of the phone..."SONNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....................sobs sobs sobs...when did u come back!!!" Haha...my mama cried! So touching. Worse thing was she JUST left the house before I came back...and now she regretted going to work. Haha..it truly was awesome. After the call, I went to snoopy...gave her all the love i cld give. She's pretty much lifeless now, as shes really old. 15-16 human yrs ald. Dad keeps saying shes waiting for both me and jie to come back. :( So anyway, I asked dad to help me make a few calls and Uncle John was so nice to lend me his car for my time in Spore. Really thankful for him. So my day went on with me going around to cut my hair...get a few necessary stuffs before contacting Shinuan to meet her up for the afternoon. Was supposed to meet her for dinner along with Samantha & Edwina but she couldn't. (Nuan, Sam and Na were my very very close sec sch frens and especially being in France, they've all been extremely encouraging to me). So anyway, met up with her and it was really nice hanging out...and in the evening, met up with Sam, Daniel and Na. It was really nice catching up. Newae, for these 3 sisters here were instrumental in the banana costume that you're gonna hear about in the next para. They were the ones who helped me out with their comments. haha..in fact, the only ones to know bout it till the surprise. What banana costume? Read on !
31st July...what can I say...the day i've been so waiting for. However, the party's at NIGHT. So i've still a whole day to HIDE. Btw, forgot to mention, but ytd when i met up with nuan and the rest, it was in TOWN. I had to literally look out and make sure I don't bump into anyone frm church. Today was the same too. As u know...GSS LAST DAY ma...so if i wanna buy anything, must buy now. Haha..can't rmbr what I did in the morning...but i know I was trying to salvage whatever I can with the costume. Apparently, I made it in France BUT after all the moving and stuff...it was pretty damaged. :( So I spent the morning trying to save it but in the afternoon I went out to sim lim and got myself my much-wanted Canon Eos 500D DSLR camera! Yayness! Anyway, this is not what this para is gonna be about. I'll go on to the highlight. So it was supposed to be a surprise, thus there were a no. of things I had to do. To start off, before I left for France, I had to give ppl an impression that I can't come back. Thus, everything they asked, i just gave a sigh, and changed the topic. Haha...(No, i didn't lie, cuz i didn't say i AM NOT coming back) so that kinda worked ald. Cuz before this, I even went on the extra mile to help esther plan her party although I "can't" be there. But of course, the party plan failed....oh well. Next, when I landed in Spore, I cannot use my spore phone to sms or call anybody frm church. Thus, sms(s) and calls were all done via skype! As for talking to esther...I rmbr talking to her at bout noon Spore time. But when we chatted, I talked to her with mentality that I was still in France and I was bout to report to work, which worked perfectly well! So come to the surprise. I told daddy that we'll go separately, that explains the good use of my own car now. Her party was at 630pm, but I planned to go at 730pm so that u know...it'll be more memorable. Later I surprise, only 2 person present...den the atmosphere not really there...haha.. so yes..this is what happened from 7pm onwards..
I changed into HALF banana first...only bottoms...n got into the car...tell u i looked super super DUMB. I drove down to the condo...parked my car...den looked around...coast clear! So i changed, FULL banana this time. Then i realised, from my car to her clubhouse, was a reallly reallly really LONG walk! n I was wearing this costume that will definitely attract attention..thus I had to wear the banana head. So I locked the car...and just as I was about to leave...I SAW WESTON & CHRISTINE...goodness...i ran back to the car...but too late! They ald saw me! I was really nervous then...like seriously...fortunately they didn't pursue me...and went on to the clubhouse...by then, they wld already be suspecting la...but who cares, its "D" night ald. So i went with my banana head on me....and walked to the clubhouse...

As you might be wondering...what on earth was I doing... basically I din't want her to just open the head lidat. So I decided to let her guess who I was...so I removed my gloves...hoping she could recognise my hand... (Unfortunately, she couldn't cuz she said I lost weight and my hands seemed smaller... i'm like... -_-"' ok. haha) Thus, I tot i cld let her see my significant mole on my right hand. However, stupid me, forgot that I was wearing my watch..!!! Thankfully, she saw my watch...and she was like....(she started to recognise it) den....the whole big thing happened.... Hahaha
Dear Esther, I'm glad I was able to be part of ur very special 21st birthday party...may God continue to bless you and minister through you always! :)
