First of all, I wanna thank Grace for helping me with this wonderful new blog layout. Haha, ever since leaving the homeland, I've gone "IT Stupid" ald. Haha...(excuses).

Well, so much has happened since months ago. As some of u would have known by now, I took a short holiday with the guys to Barcelona (Spain) ! Haha...it was my first time into Spain and I gotta say, its beautiful. The beach, the sun, the sea and of course, the shopping. Haha...But this trip was more like a break for me, to unwind. Was going through a very tough period, both in training and in my social life. Thank God he brought me through. If theres one thing I've learnt or more like "experienced" is that no matter what, God will always be by your side. He has never failed me and I can't thank him enough. However, I won't be posting pics of the barcelona trip though, maybe on facebook next time but not anytime soon. Haha... This is why...

Training has gone up a notch, I've gone from ground sch to accomodation flights...to simus....to having both flights and simus on the same day. Indeed it has been very tiring but i'm glad that at least it shows my progression moving pretty fast. We've been told that we'll soon be doing 2 flights a day to go on full throttle so as to make it for the wings ceremony on week 43 (which is Oct 19th-25th). Can't wait...this is what I've been working for and I can really feel it coming...I've already started working on targets...so very soon, I'll be doing alot more and I tell you, I'm learning alot and fast! Hahaha...thank you Lord.

Today's flight was very scary but one of the more interesting ones. Because of the really bad weather, I was forced to fly on instruments (meaning you can't see anything outside, like TOTALLY, so you can only rely on what your instruments tell you and navigate from there). It was really scary. I've done it many times in simulator before, but to do it in real life, the actual FEAR is there. (What happens if a dumb bird hits you?! What if theres an aircraft in front? Or if you're descending but you thought you're climbing?!) So many things, really scary. Thank God all went well...learnt alot today and really looking forward to my flight tomorrow. Although its gonna be very rushed and stressful again (we're only given 1.5hrs to plan for the entire mission), but it'll come with experience.

Just last month, I also went to help Shauna (sam's cell fren) to settle in to Paris. She's coming over to study for 2 yrs and boy is she really smart or what! Haha, she speaks really good french and knows a thing or 2 (maybe more) about France's history! I'm really glad she's here though, cuz that means I have ONE more fren to talk to at night! Haha...thanks Shauna!

I miss playing foosball though. Haha, its been really really long since I touched one. Gosh, hope I still can play when i go back in Zion and not get thrashed.

Heres a shout out to everyone: If you're online at night, like can't slp or sth...pls talk to me k! I've seriously very very little ppl on my msn list at night (my time , aka ur wee hours of the morning).

And Esther, arn't you excited? Its just 8 days...7 days... (depending on how u look at it) to your 21st birthday! Haha.. take lotsa pics and vids ye?

Haha... meanwhile, take care peeps! Love ya all!
