2.5 more weeks and its my final exam. 6 weeks of work all in a 4-hour exam. If I pass, I proceed to Squadron life, another 3 weeks of ground sch and I start flying. No longer will I be able to come back to my room b4 6pm...which means I can hardly talk to my loved ones. Sad, but sth I've to cope with.
As I was doing this morning's devotion, I read about Abraham. He was tested for a long long time. But in the end, richly rewarded. The Lord tested him by delaying his fulfillment of his promise. Satan tested him through temptation and ppl tested him through their jealousy, distrust and opposition to him. Sarah tested him with her worriesome temperament, yet he patiently endured. Not questioning God's truthfulness and power or doubting God's faithfulness and love.
Beloved, God's promises can never fail to be accomplished, and those who patiently wait can never be disappointed, for believing leads to realization. Remember, Abraham was tested but he patiently waited, ultimately received what was promised and was satisfied.
Peace.
A prayer for a deton.
Dear Heavenly Papa,
I commit my sister Lydia unto you. I thank you for her life for she has been a blessing to many, especially with her contagious and joyful spirit. Lord, I ask that even as she grow a year older (belated), that you'll bless her and her family, that you continue to mould her and use her. In times of difficulties, that she'll find her comfort and refuge in you. Let her continue to be a living testimony for your glory Lord. Thank you Lord. Amen.
Hey sis, have a great belated birthday ya! Dieu vous bissent! (God bless you!)
