Most of us each own an iPod. A revolutionary mp3 player that has rocked the world by storm. A magnificent invention and stroke of genius from the Apple company. But what has it got to do with my post today?
I was in my regular shower last week, and the bathroom has always been my place of refuge and strength. A place when I feel most comfortable to just kneel and commune with God. But this time, it was different. It dawned upon me what the iPod truly meant. What good is an ipod or any mp3 player if there's nothing inside. It needs iTunes or some media player to sync some songs in. And again, what good would it be if you have iTunes and an iPod, but no cable?

To be used 100% by God, we have to be in sync. Without God, we're as good as nothing. But to reach him, we cannot neglect his word, for its his word that synchronizes us with his plans. Through the cable (through his word), we're recharged, we receive regular updates, we receive security patches and we receive updated information. How often do you sync? Once a week? Every sunday? Or everyday? Illustration may sound quite shallow, but u get my drift.
