Found time!

Finally...I've found time to update my blog again. Just looking back, my entry was tt I was about to enter OCS. Well, I'll now update what has been going on! Haha...
In OCS, there are 3 terms. Under Army, they are : Common Leadership Module - 2 weeks, Service Term (2 Mths) and Professional Term (6mths). When I entered OCS, I was streamed into Charlie wing and into CLM. Those 2 weeks were definitely memorable when I bonded with my guys very very well. We had lots of memories being in field camp, learning of weapons...and who can forget the CASAVAC ? It was pretty "sufferful" but we all made it through. After CLM, it was on to our 1st week of Svc term. I was appointed the appointment of Cadet Platoon Sergeant. Man, it is never easy to be the middle man. Haha...However, at the same time, my application for WSO (FTR) was now left with an interview which happened to be on the fri of that week. To cut the whole story short, I went, I passed and I signed. Length of contract bond? Similar to pilot : 10years (If you count NS, its 12 years)
Immediately after tt, I was transferred to Air Wing. From then on, it was Air Force all the way. I met up with my AGC buddies all at Air Wing and was given quite a warm welcome. However, it was really sad to leave my Charlie guys behind. But well, I still get to see them at the dining hall. =)
Air Wing was pretty much different. We spent most of the time in lectures, learning bout the organisation and stuff. Sometimes, it was really so dry that we had to get sweets to keep us awake. But overall, it was gd. That was the studying aspect, the physical aspect? 5BX plus 1.5-3k run every morning, 5-7 endurance run, IPPT training....circuit (gym) training...extra RT training...SEOC. Upcoming very soon? We have our 12km route march...and guess what, I've been appointed the appointment of Cadet Wing Commander next week ! Thats like the toughest job and next week is the week where we have all the tough stuff. (exam...route march...SEOC...navex...) gosh...need my guys to help me out.
But God started something in my heart and in air wing. When I went to Ignite on one of the saturdays, he gave me a burden for souls. When I went back to Air Wing, I started a cell grp and guess wad? We have to date...9 guys who attended our first cell. Well, we're finding it hard to meet up but I'm sure soon we'll be able to meet up again and hopefully when we split up to our different vocations in Pro Term, we'll all be able to set up our own cells and be a gd role model and testimony to our colleagues. Thank God!
Well, so currently, I'm a signed on Weapons System Officer (Fighter) ==> In short, I sit behind the pilot in a fighter jet. Left with 2 weeks more in OCS...before I go over to Air Force school. My current route is that I'll be travelling quite alot for training this yr. I'll be goingf for Jungle Survival Training (JST) in Brunei, then to Australia for Flight Screening and lastly to France for 1.5-2yrs for my official fighter training. Tentatively, going to France is fixed on September, so we'll see how things turn out.
I thank God for everything for he has watched, protected and blessed me all these while. I thank you my Lord. =)
